Garden Pod Designs

A garden pod may be small in size, but it can be big on design & practicality! Our Garden Pods have become an increasingly popular solution for homeowners who require a break out space away from the house, but do not wish to take up a large footprint of the garden. For us, a garden room becomes a pod when the room is around 9 square metres or less.

Home offices are the most common use for our garden pod customers. A pod can be surprisingly spacious when furnished and will offer enough room for a desk and even a small seating area. With more of us working from home then ever before, a pod is a budget-friendly option for anyone who requires a professional room to work in. Our recent Garden Office Pod project in Crawley shows how impressive offices can grow out of compact spaces!

Here our top design tips when it comes to the finish of your garden pod:

– Choose a glazed door that will also act as a window for natural light.
– Have a feature wall of colour to create a sense of depth.
– Consider a desk height window to connect the room to the garden.
– Upgrade your design to include an overhang and decking for a small outdoor seating area.
– It’s all about exterior lighting! Turn your pod into a night time focal point.

Our garden pods have also been used as pottery studios, garden bars, art studios and additional family living spaces. As with all of our garden room builds, our pods are still bespoke in design and are built to the same high quality. With a seven day build time and a turn-key package on offer, why not get in touch for your complimentary garden pod quotation?
