We designed and built this music studio for a family whose children are budding musicians. With a drummer and a saxophonist in the house, they wanted a soundproof space that could be used for music practice. The structure is decoupled which is essentially a room within a room. Alongside acoustic insulation, double sets of doors and windows, and acoustic glass, the sound that escapes the room is almost non-existent. The family now has a room which is dedicated to nurturing their children’s talents. It also doubles up as a fantastic place to spend time with friends and make memories!
