A garden room is a fantastic place to store musical instruments and equipment. Add some quality soundproofing, and you have a dedicated space for music practice where noise can barely escape! This smart soundproof room is used as a music studio by a musician in Brighton. The room has allowed him to free up space in his house, and has given him a sound-tight room for making the most of his hobby.
We installed Soundproof Package C into this build which includes a double set of doors and windows, acoustic glazing and an iso clip system. When testing the studio, we had a decibel reading of 97 - 101 inside the room when playing music on full blast through a speaker. This decibel reading was reduced to an average of 54 when tested just outside the entrance of the room. Imagine what this reduction would be further away or in a neighbouring building - barely audible!
