Garden Room on a Hill

About this design

A calming, tranquil environment was required by our client who works from home as a child-psychatrist in Surrey. We were tasked with creating a garden room design that could be used for appointments with clients from all backgrounds. Due to the nature of what the garden room would be used for, our design team chose to keep this design simplistic and fuss-free. As the garden building is surrounded by bushy trees, we opted for bi-fold doors and a skylight window in order to let in as much natural light in as possible.

Our ability to build into awkward garden slopes and corners is second to none. Having two sons of her own that regularly use the garden for sport, our client asked us to utlise the space available on a slope in the corner of her garden. In order to overcome this hill, our team created a suspended floor. Our work also included the small area of decking at the entrance which can be used as a seating area in warmer months.
