Garden Room with Shower & Storage

We regularly work with clients in the Brighton & Hove area, and as a result have become seasoned pros at building garden rooms in tight spaces or with awkward access. This large garden studio was built in the garden of a maisonette in Hove. As the clients live in a flat, planning was required as well as permission from the freeholders. This was a process that our team took over and successfully achieved on behalf of our clients.

Both working professionals, our clients love living in the hustle and bustle of Brighton & Hove but felt like they needed more space. Reluctant to move from their maisonette, they looked to their large garden as a way of gaining extra room. Our team built this 8m x 4m multi-functional studio that offered the space they longed for. The structure comprises of a large family room with an ensuite shower and toilet. As the structure replaced a shed, we incorporated side storage into the building.

We love the contemporary feel of this garden room. Our build team have used a stained black timber cladding which contracts beautifully against the cedar door to the storage. The overhang and decking offer a sitting area in the garden, whilst the large sliding doors bring the outdoors in. Our clients were delighted with their garden room and now have an impressive space for spending time with friends and family, whilst staying in the city they love.
