At Miniature Manors, we are leading the way in bespoke garden room construction. With a wealth of design and building experience, we strive to create garden buildings that are bold, beautiful and unique. If you are you searching for bespoke garden rooms online, the chances are that you’ll be coming across the same cedar box after cedar box. There is nothing wrong with having a mainstream design, but if you are looking for the unusual and the unexpected, our architectural team are here to create garden buildings that stand out from the crowd.
The possibilities of garden room design is endless, which is why we work closely with every customer to understand the features that they require. We offer an extensive range of cladding, joinery, roofing and decking options. Our craftsman can incorporate storage areas, verandas, and will build into awkward spaces.
“I had a wonderful experience with Miniature Manors. From the outset, they made me feel involved and influential in the design process and explained each aspect every step of the way.”
Mrs Mansfield – Horsham, West Sussex
All of our garden rooms and garden offices are built to the size of your choice and can be adapted to fit almost any space.
We manage every aspect of the build to ensure your final structure has been finished to the highest specifications – from the groundworks through to the final electrical connection.
Our team is willing to work with a wide range of materials including oak, composite, aluminium, reclaimed timbers and recycled roof tiles, sedum roofs and artificial walls.
In the event that planning is required, our architectural design team can take over this process and at present, have a 100% success rate at achieving permission. We charge a separate fee for this work which also covers the submission fee to your local council.
We commonly apply for planning permission or work to building regulations for the following reasons:
Where building regulations or planning permission conditions are required, we will adapt the specifications of our build for the all-important sign off.
A truly multi-functional space thanks to the L-shaped floor plan. This studio includes a 7m x 3.5m workout area that meets a 2m x 2m office. In order to house a cable machine, we added a vaulted ceiling to a section of the structure. A clever way to house a heavy weight piece of equipment without exceeding the 2.5 metres in height.
Wondering what the benefits are of choosing a bespoke garden room over a modular? This is a tailor-made garden room at its best and shows how modular buildings can limit what you can do with your space. The multi-functional structure contains a large family room with toilet, and a garage with rear access from the road. We have even installed a log burner.
This garden room is oak-framed with a mock tudor front that matches our customer’s main home. Bursting with rustic charm, the interior of this studio includes engineered oak flooring, panelled walls and a vaulted ceiling. As this structure exceeds 2.5 metres in height and is within 2 metres of the boundary, our team successfully obtained planning permission for this project.
A blooming brilliant garden office design! This structure is not only visually pleasing, but has all the practical features of a work at home space. The exterior combines maintenance-free composite cladding and a beautiful artificial foliage wall. The greenery cleverly conceals a hidden storage area, whilst the bi-fold doors open into a light and airy office space.
Sitting in the garden of a Grade II listed property, our architectural team successfully obtained planning permission for this garden room. In order for the building to be in keeping with the existing house, we included a pitched roof with slate tiles. Sitting at 7m x 4m, the structure offers a large open room for hosting parties with friends and family.
Standing at 8m x 4m, this multi-functional studio has provided a growing family with the additional space they longed for. We have cladded the structure in a stained black timber which contrasts beautifully against the cedar entrance to the shed. Planning permission was required for this build as the main home is a maisonette – a process we took over on behalf of our client.
