Nail your fitness goals with a dedicated workout space in the garden. Whether your gym is for personal use or as a space to work from as a personal trainer or fitness instructor, a garden room is the ultimate solution for working out at home. Train in the privacy of your own home in a bright, beautifully designed space, saving on gym fees and the inconvenience of commuting.
We build our garden gyms to accommodate your training needs, including extra support for heavy weight lifting equipment and machinery. We’ll design your floor plan with your equipment in mind, making the best use of the space we have to work with. Our rooms are also built fully insulated so you’ll be able to exercise whatever the weather. Combined with air conditioning, you’ll be able to keep your gym at the optimum temperature so you can train without any issues.
We strive to create exceptional garden room designs, and our home gyms are no different. Whether contemporary or traditional is your style, we will create a room that will inspire you to hit your fitness goals. Your choice of window and door configuration will offer views across the garden whilst you exercise. With our residential grade interiors, you can choose between a professionally plastered and painted finish or a hygienic PVC wall panelling.
Our designs come with many different options so there’s no need to dedicate the gym to a single use. We can add extra storage, accommodate an office, and add outdoor space to cool off after a long session.
Need loud music to get the blood pumping? With extra soundproofing, you can work out as loud and as hard as you like. Your neighbours won’t be disturbed – or your family at home. With your garden gym separate from your house, you’re freed from the niggling worries of life and you can focus on fitness.
Our garden gyms are easy to keep warm during the winter months. With full insulation and double-glazing, you’ll be able to keep fit in a space that’s built with comfort and function in mind. Similarly, we make sure there’s plenty of ventilation when the weather goes the other way. We can factor air conditioning into the design to keep things cool in the summer months. You’ll be able to adjust the atmosphere of your gym to suit you, whatever the weather.

Experienced and talented craftsmen and designers
Our team of skilled professionals have been operating in the heart of Sussex since 2008. Our team consists of experienced professionals, including our inhouse architectural technician who overlooks our planning applications. We offer a turnkey service where everything is handled under one roof.
Every inch hand-crafted
Unlike other garden room suppliers, we do not offer flat pack style garden rooms and steer well clear of plastic interiors. For us, changing the size or colour of a mass-produced structure is simply not bespoke. Our carpenters work hard to finish every piece by hand. We’re dedicated to the craft, so much so we run apprentice carpentry schemes every year.
Individual, sustainable designs
We do our best to cater to your expectations and give various size, material, window and door options for every client. All of our garden rooms are made with sustainable materials and are finished to the highest specifications to prolong the life of your building. Because of this, we deliver a high-quality product at a competitive price.
After your enquiry, a member of our team will contact you to discuss your initial garden gym plans in more detail. We always try to book a site-visit with our clients in order to have a detailed discussion about their requirements. A member of our knowledgeable team will bring material samples and images of our previous builds. This enables you to choose the finish on our garden gym, and allows us to create a design which is truly unique for you.
After completing a survey of the space you want to use for you garden gym, our team will then create a CAD design which encapsulates your ideas. We will send this to you with a list of proposed specifications for the build. We welcome any feedback and will keep making adjustments until you are 100% happy with the design and cost. When you are happy to proceed with your own Miniature Manor, we will schedule your build into our diary.
Depending on the size of your garden gym, it usually takes two – four weeks for our team
to erect and decorate your structure. The majority of the work will take place on site in your garden, although there will be days when they build part of the structure at our workshop in Sussex. Once your garden gym is complete we will advise how best to look after the structure to ensure longevity.
In the event that planning is required, our architectural design team can take over this process and at present, have a 100% success rate at achieving permission. We charge a separate fee for this work which also covers the submission fee to your local council.
We commonly apply for planning permission or work to building regulations for the following reasons:
Where building regulations or planning permission conditions are required, we will adapt the specifications of our build for the all-important sign off.
You can learn more about the planning rules for garden gyms via the Planning Portal Mini Guide.
Generally speaking, you don’t need planning permission. We design and build our garden gyms so they are covered under your permitted development rights. Some additional extras will need planning permission. There are more reasons where planning permission will be needed, but we can address any concerns you have.
Our team regularly works with planning officers and we have our own planning consultant that we direct enquiries towards. Planning regulations can sometimes be very conflicting so we can help answer any planning permission questions you may have.
Yes, we have a showroom where an example of a garden gym is on display. Visits to our showroom are by appointment only. You can arrange a visit here or by calling on 01403 610619.
This depends on how much outdoor space you have at your property. A build in your garden can’t exceed over 50% of the space you have available – going over will require planning permission. There are also external height restrictions. The external height cannot be any higher than 2.5 metres when 2 metres off the boundary. A pitched roof will also have a height limit of 4 metres when it is built 2 metres from the boundary.
You can find out more about the planning regulations for outdoor builds on the online planning portal here.
As all of our garden rooms are individually designed, it is hard for us to present a list of prices. However, if you complete our Project Planner we will email across an estimate.
