Our design team are regularly asked to create garden rooms that match the main family home. We were delighted when our client in East Grinstead approached us to create a mock tudor style building, similar to his own countryside house. The outcome is a gorgeous garden building that compliments this iconic period of architectural style.
In order to convey the rustic charm such a garden room deserves, we opted to erect an oak frame instead of timber. We set out to source reclaimed tiles for the pitched roof with the added detail of a finial at each end. This is another detail taken from the existing house. The front of the structure is rendered, whilst around the building sits on oak decking that leads to a stone firepit.
The interior of this garden building has panelled walls with an engineered oak flooring. We included a vaulted ceiling with pelmet lighting to create the ambiance such a grand structure deserves. The skills of our craftsmen really come to life on projects like this. We love working with a range of textures and materials to create garden rooms that stand out from the crowd. Whether your property is traditional or contemporary, we can create a garden building that compliments your home and garden.
