As new-build neighbourhoods continue to grow across Sussex, more homeowners are looking to their gardens to maximise space on their development plots. This Nook Garden Office is a perfect example. Our client spotted the unused strip between their fence, garage, and home, and saw the potential for a stylish remote-working retreat. The garden building makes clever use of an area that once had little purpose.
James Hardie cladding in 'Khaki Brown' means no maintenance will be needed on the inaccessible walls. The bi-fold doors have been cleverly positioned so that they fit in line with the garage whilst open. The overhang with downlights also stops, creating a unique feature out of the garden room entrance. What was once 'dead space', has become an extension of the home that is game changing for those work from home days!
"From Richard, the Director of the business through to every other member of the team we dealt with on site, the build experience was smooth and professionally completed. We are extremely happy with the final result." - Mr Maddox, Haywards Heath, West Sussex
